A guided walk with our warden starting at dusk.
Using bat detectors and torches we hope to see and hear a variety of species common to the Reserve.

Nature Sketchup -8th October 2026 (New Date)
Join us for a relaxing and creative morning, sketching and journaling on our beautiful Reserve.
This session is suitable for beginners or seasoned artists, with encouraging guidance from Ye Ping Tsim.

PapercraftWorkchop – 10th August 2026
Join Helen Mole, a local paper artist, for a hands-on workshop where you’ll create a beautiful crepe paper Dandelion and Thistle.
The workshop includes a take-home kit with everything you need to complete 3 more of each flower to make own arrangement at home.
Perfect for craft lovers of all levels, come along, get creative and enjoy a relaxing, inspiring session. All equipment and materials provided.

A unique opportunity to experience the magical sounds of the Dawn Chorus on the Reserve.
Be prepared though for the very early start, but it will be very much worth it.

£10 per person to include a bacon roll (or vegetarian option) plus a hot drink.
No unaccompanied children.

Come and create a beautiful crepe paper hibiscus with Helen Mole, a local paper artist.
Helen will teach you how to cut and shape this beautiful paper into stunning flowers. Make 1 stem in the workshop in a colour of your choice.

Quiz Night – 26/02/2025
We will be hosting a friendly quiz night at the Holbrook Club in North Heath Lane, Horsham. There is plenty of free parking and a bar there too, though you will have to buy your own drinks.
Time now to revise for all the great quiz favourites, sport, literature, general knowledge, science and nature, geography etc, not saying though that any of these topics will be included.
Teams of up to 6 people. FREE entry to Friends Members, £2 per person for non-members, payable on entry.

New Year’s Day Walk – 01/01/2025
